Specs & What to Expect

You’ll be lifting and car-topping a kayak that weighs anywhere between 45lbs (20.5kg) for a single and 75lbs (34kg) for a double, or a SUP board that weighs 30lbs (13kgs).

Once you’ve booked, you will receive a confirmation email which includes a link to waiver forms that will need to be filled out for each person in your group. On the day of your reservation, we will meet you at one of several locations in the Wailua area and will text the exact directions 1-2 hours before your scheduled time.

Our All Day rentals are good for the day only.  Meaning, you may use the kayak from the time you’ve picked it up until the end of our business day, which is normally at 5 pm.  Our summer hours extend to 7:30 p.m. between June 1st to August 5th.

*The discounted Morning Special promotion has a strict 12:30 p.m return time on the day of rental.*

Renting a kayak or SUP board may involve physical activity. Please consult with your doctor before booking, especially if you have a medical condition.

What Is Included

The rental of your choosing

We offer both single and double kayaks, fit for most, as well as a 10ft (3m) SUP. Whether you want a break from your significant other, or would like to test the bonds of your familial relationship, we have options for you.

Car straps and padding

We include ratchet straps and foam blocks to protect your vehicle if you pick up your rental. If you don’t know how to use such straps, we’ll show you when you pick up your kayak(s). It’s much easier to use than the name may suggest!

Paddles and PFD’s

Paddles and PFD’s (Personal Floatation Devices), or life jackets, are all included with your rental. All you need now is food and drink, you can provide that yourself.

Dry Bags

All rentals come included with a 3L dry bag, one per rental. If you would like an additional bag, or would prefer our larger 20L dry bag or waterproof phone case, they’ll have to be rented. 3L dry bags and waterproof phone cases are $5 each for the day, and our 20L dry bag is $10 each for the day.

Pick Up & Drop Offs

Pick ups

We have several meeting locations in the Wailua area and all within 3 miles of the Wailua Boat Ramp. A confirmation text message will be sent to your cell phone on the day of your reservation with directions to that day's specific meeting location.
Please make note of your scheduled start/pickup time from the confirmation email and arrive promptly. Please call if there was a time you wanted but is not listed for booking, i.e., after 10:00am. We may be able to create an availability for you.

Drop Offs

All kayaks and included or rented gear must be returned by 5:00pm during normal business hours, or by 7:30 p.m. during our summer extended hours (June 1 - August 5)

A $25 late fee will be charged per boat for every 15 minutes past your scheduled drop off time.
